IYM is proud to present an alumnae session with Dr Heidi Ward-McGrath.

Dr. Heidi is a director of an award-winning Veterinary practice, a published researcher, and an astute entrepreneur who has developed and is continuing to develop a range of successful natural animal products. She won the Ernst and Young, Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2003, as well as being the winner of the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year – local heroes medal for her work with Animal welfare.

Dr Heidi will share with you her career journey, her advice around finding your passions in all areas of your life, and not boxing yourself into just one area of STEMM, including the creative arts, business, product design and development.
